🙂 What is lip liner pencil?
It is intended to fill in uneven areas on the outer edges of the lips before applying lipstick to give a smoother shape.
It’s also used to outline the lips, keeping lipstick inside the lip area and preventing it from “bleeding”, making the lips stand out more.
Alternatively, lip liner can be used to fill in the entire lip before the application of lipstick, and in some cases it worn as a lipstick on its own.
Is lip liner necessary?
Lip liner provides a solid, tacky base for lipstick, balm or gloss to adhere to and also shapes lips beautifully in a way lipstick on its own just can\’t.
Can I wear lip liner with lip gloss?
Lip liner and lip gloss are a match made in heaven, an equal balance of color and shine.
Remember to not just line your lips, but fill them in with color as well before topping with gloss.

So, I bought these because they seemed great for the value. I like the quality of the items just fine, but the caps won\’t stay on. Like, no matter what I do, they just slide off. It\’s very frustrating, and I wouldn\’t buy them again. If you have the kind of big vanity set up, they would probably be great for you. If you\’re using a small training caselike me for your makeup, spend a little more and get something you don\’t have to worry about it.

You do get what you pay for. However, the pigmentation is great! You don\’t have to press hard or go over it repeatedly. (I am brown skinned with light colored lips.) I tried it just as a liner to line the lips and it is perfect. The only downfall is that If you press your lips together or rub the line in anyway it easily smears/come off. I also used it to color the entire lip and again it was beautiful pigmentation. Yet, it wears off quickly and I wouldn\’t recommend wearing it as like a lipstick. As a \”base\” for your lipstick it\’s great too. So, for a small occasion, a pic, a quick run to go somewhere is great. Oh and it does flake if you try to color in the entire lip. So beware. Otherwise, great for the money. I hope this helps.

I really like all the colors and they\’re nice and sharp and ready to make your lips look great. However, every single cap fit as if it belonged on a different pencil. They would fall off if I held the pencil upside down! I put a piece of scotch tape around the ends to make the lids stay on snuggly and I\’ve had no problems since!

The colors are ok. They\’re all basically the same shade. I use 2 of them. The lids come off super easy…not a good thing. When I put them in the storage caddy for my liners, the lids fall off as soon as I turn them upside down. To keep that from happening, I have to store them right side up but then I don\’t see the color of the pencil because all I see is a bunch of black tops
