HOW TO APPLY OTTER WAX
CLEAN SURFACE MATERIAL: Ensure that the surface of your fabric or canvas is clean and free of any dirt, dust, or debris. This helps prevent any particles from being sealed in by the wax.
HOW TO APPLY OTTER WAX
CREATE FRICTION: Start with a small area and apply downward pressure. Rubbing the bar back and forth creates friction and helps to warm and soften the wax so that it spreads out evenly. Use the sharp edges of the bar to wax difficult areas such as seams and button holes.
HOW TO APPLY OTTER WAX
SMOOTH TO SEAL: Use your fingers or one of our Wood Smoothing Tools to press wax into surface of canvas for even coverage and water repellency.
HOW TO APPLY OTTER WAX
CURE TIME: Allow your item to cure in a warm, dry place with low humidity for apx. 48~72 hours before use. After curing your item will be ready to use and any remaining tack will subside over time as oils evaporate.
